Mrs. Bucelo is an Associate at Leon Attorneys, where she works in the civil litigation department with a primary focus of representing insurance policy holders in First-Party Property Insurance litigation. Mrs. Bucelo joined the firm in 2025. Prior to joining Leon Attorneys Mrs. Bucelo worked at various law firms, gaining experience in the areas of First-Party Property.

Cristy Bucelo was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Mrs. Bucelo attended Miami Dade College, Florida International University and St. Thomas University School of Law. Mrs. Bucelo earned her BA in Political Science and International Relations from Florida International University. Thereafter, Mrs. Bucelo earned her Juris Doctorate Degree from St. Thomas University School of Law. During law school, Mrs. Bucelo made the Dean’s list and was a member of the Elder Law Society, as well as the Tort Law Society.

Mrs. Bucelo is currently admitted to practice in all State Courts of Florida.
